PAM ALLEN: President and CEO
Pam started AltaPro in 2004 when she brought together the team of highly experienced professional liability underwriters that form the foundation of the organization. Pam has had over 30 years of underwriting and management experience in the commercial insurance industry, progressing from start-ups of company branches to start-ups of small insurance companies, with several turn-arounds of divisions, programs, and a company along the way. She specializes in the management and technical process of the underwriting and marketing of professional liability and program business.
RAY BIRKINSHA, JD, RPLU: Vice President and COO
Ray joined AltaPro in 2008, when he arrived from Swiss Re Americas where he was a Vice President in professional liability excess. Ray has been instrumental in developing and refining operations for several insurance companies and was in private practice as a professional liability trial lawyer in Michigan. His background includes claim operations management, general operations, litigation and consulting in the insurance industry.
